Sara Engel Named Department Administrator for Emergency Medicine Beginning Sept. 6

The Department of Emergency Medicine is pleased to announce our new Department Administrator, Sara Engel, will start September 6. After a robust search, Sara Engel was chosen to replace Steve Camp, who announced his retirement effective October 1.

Sara currently serves as the Division Administrator for the Division of General Internal Medicine (GIM). Since 2019, she has served this role as the division’s director, overseeing HR, operations, and financial management for all sections of GIM.

We are grateful to Steve Camp, who joined MCW in March 2017, for the dedication and tireless work to Emergency Medicine throughout his tenure. We wish him well in his retirement!
