About the Palliative Care Program
Palliative Care Program was founded in 1993 as one of the first Academic Palliative Care programs in the United States, combining clinical care, education, research, and community outreach. The Program is based in the Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology & Oncology, at the Medical College of Wisconsin and Froedtert Hospital, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The Palliative Care Program is committed to improving care for seriously ill patients and their families, through the development, implementation and dissemination of innovative educational, research, and clinical care programs.
