Certificate in Global Health Equity | Medical College of Wisconsin

The Certificate in Global Health Equity is a 12-credit, online program designed to provide students with a strong foundation in core global health concepts while offering the flexibility to pursue elective courses aligned with their specific interests. The program explores global health inequities through the lens of individuals, communities and organizations working to implement effective, real-world solutions.

This certificate is offered fully online through asynchronous coursework, to accommodate the working professional. There is a growing need for global health professionals who understand and can serve global populations within local communities in the United States. This certificate prepares students to be culturally competent, globally aware practitioners who recognize and respect the unique determinants, perspectives and experiences that different cultures contribute to health and healthcare.
