Office of Global Health (MCW)
The MS Global Health Equity program works closely with the Office of Global Health. Students have an opportunity to participate in the Global Health Scholars program which is open to students throughout the Greater Milwaukee Area. Students convene around a shared interest in Global Health to learn from one another and faculty mentors from local Universities. Students in the MS Global Health Equity program have an opportunity to connect with faculty members at MCW who are conducting global health research for their thesis project. Aegis works to prevent genocide and mass atrocities worldwide. Aegis honors the memory of the victims of genocide and enables students, professionals, decision-makers and a wider public to meet survivors and learn from their experiences. Aegis conducts and encourages research about genocide to improve the practice of prevention.
Research Focus: Community Resilience, Displaced populations, Climate change, Chronic Diseases.
RAN is a partnership of 20 African universities in 13 countries. The organization’s objectives are to strengthen resilience at the individual, household and community levels through innovative technologies and approaches to development. As well as to enhance resilience-related knowledge and share it globally, engaging students, faculty, and staff to collaborate on solving resilience related problems.
Great Lakes Native American Research Center for Health (GLNARCH)
Research Focus: Native American Health.
The mission of GLNARCH is to enhance the quality of life for all Native people. This organization provides a cooperative structure for the development and implementation of high quality, culturally sensitive and community supported research linked to health disparity issues. Collaborative effort will facilitate the participation of American Indians and Alaskan Natives in the research process through training and mentoring opportunities within both academic and community settings.
Mbarara University of Science and Technology
Research Focus: Community peace & conflict resolution, Pediatric and maternal HIV prevention.

The MS Global Health Equity program is proud to partner with Marquette University to offer an exciting opportunity to Marquette students to complete the MS Global Health Equity degree in one year after graduation from Marquette. This opportunity is open to students with a Junior standing to apply to the program and begin coursework during their Senior year. Students will take select courses at Marquette that will apply for credit towards completion of their Baccalaureate degree as well as credit towards the Global Health Equity Masters of Science program.
