MCW Hosts Milwaukee Business Journal Roundtable

On Tuesday, September 13, the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) hosted Milwaukee Business Journal’s “Health Care: What’s Next” Roundtable event.

During the event, leaders of Milwaukee’s five largest health care systems discussed how the pandemic changed their operations, the challenges and opportunities ahead for each organization and the outlook for health care costs for Milwaukee-area businesses.

The panel consisted of Dr. John R. Raymond, President and CEO of the Medical College of Wisconsin; Cathy Jacobson, CEO of Froedtert Health; Scott Turner, COO of Children’s Wisconsin; Bernie Sherry, Ministry Market Executive of Ascension Wisconsin and Jim Skogsbergh, CEO of Advocate Aurora Health. Milwaukee Business Journal senior reporter, Rich Kirchen, moderated the discussion.

To kick off the panel, a video showcasing MCW students describing what they believe the future of healthcare means to them was shown to the audience. This video served as a conversation starter and a kickstart to what was to be an enlightened conversation on what is to come for healthcare.
