Fourth Small-Scale Hospital Opens in Mequon

Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin has opened a fourth small-scale hospital located in Mequon on May 2. The hospital includes a seven-bed emergency department and is staffed by Medical College of Wisconsin emergency physicians, registered nurses, paramedics, etc. The hospital also includes eight inpatient beds for patients who require additional care, observations, and tests. Similar to other neighborhood hospitals opened by Froedtert & MCW, the facility is designed to treat medical emergencies that require attention beyond urgent care.
