Milwaukee County COVID-19 Cases at All-Time High: Dr. Ben Weston Weighs In
According to Dr. Ben Weston, Milwaukee County is currently seeing an average of 1,168 new cases per day and about three deaths per day. These numbers are staggering given overall trends, particularly the number of cases and hospitalizations. He also states that the positivity rate is at a record high at 34%. He urges the community to get vaccinated as it could be the difference between staying home and being admitted to the hospital.

Dr. Weston states if testing is needed, please seek those options and not the emergency department. He states emergency departments want to have room to care for everyone, regardless of whether it's from COVID or not.
