Medical Observers in the Medical College of Wisconsin Department of Radiology

Residency Medical Observers
The Department of Radiology is committed to providing educational services to the community. For that reason, we welcome high school, college, medical or physician assistant students and both employees and non-employees to visit the Department of Radiology and observe our faculty.
  • Clinical observation is mandated to observational activity only.
  • No patient care or “hands on” medical training will be conducted.
  • Observers will not perform any medical procedures on patients.
  • They will not have direct contact or unsupervised access to patients.
For observer experiences involving radiology nursing or technologists, please submit a Froedtert Job Shadow/Observer request.

Patient safety is extremely important to us, and each observer must undergo a background check completed by the Medical College of Wisconsin, as well as submit immunization records.

All observers must be at least 16 years of age. To request an experience, please contact our staff.
