Dr. Michelle Pickett Named Among Annual 40 Under 40 in Milwaukee Business Journal
Each year, Business Journal reporters and editors select 40 leaders under the age of 40 – from a pool of hundreds of nominations – who have demonstrated outstanding professional achievement while also becoming leaders in their communities. This 40 Under 40 class represents the future of community leadership in southeastern Wisconsin.
Dr. Pickett, associate professor of pediatrics, is a clinical researcher with an research interest in adolescent healthcare, mainly sexual health. Dr. Pickett's overall career goal is to decrease the rate of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in adolescent through improving the diagnosis and treatment of patients. She has a specific interest in increasing the use of expedited partner therapy for the management of STIs. Dr. Pickett enjoys collaborating and has been involved in multi-center research.
