MCW General Surgery Residency Program Global Health Rotation
About the GME Global Health Scholars Program
The program is available to any surgery resident to advance their global health knowledge and leadership. It is a two-year training program and consists of didactic sessions and the global health away rotation. MCW currently visits the following sites:
- Havana, Cuba
- Hawassa, Ethiopia
- Port-au-Prince, Haiti
- Tenwek Hospital, Kenya
- The Kathmandu University Hospital, Nepal
