For students interested in a career in pharmacy, the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) Pharmacy School offers a ground-breaking dual-degree program with undergraduate schools from across the state of Wisconsin. The partnership provides a unique opportunity for students to gain their Bachelor of Science or Arts degree and Doctor of Pharmacy degree in as little as six years from a cutting-edge pharmacy school in an exceptionally supportive, accessible, and innovative learning environment.

Students enrolled in the 3+3 or 4+3 partnership program take classes for three or four years at an MCW partner school, and, having satisfactorily met the requirements for admission to the MCW Pharmacy School, will take an additional three years of classes at MCW, graduating with both a Bachelor of Science (BS) or a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the partner school and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD) from the MCW Pharmacy School. The partnership provides a unique opportunity for students to gain their BS/BA and PharmD in six or seven years from a cutting-edge pharmacy school in an exceptionally supportive, accessible, and innovative learning environment.

Students who express an interest in obtaining a PharmD degree through a 3+3 or 4+3 partnership will be partnered with a faculty mentor from MCW. They will also have access to career discussions, shadowing opportunities with the MCW Pharmacy School’s clinical partners, and will potentially have access to undergraduate research opportunities at MCW.

The MCW Pharmacy School has partnered with a number of schools across the state to help you accelerate your path towards a career in pharmacy. With an MCW PharmD degree, you'll be prepared to fulfill all aspects of the expanding role of the pharmacist, including administering vaccines, conducting basic medical tests (strep throat, flu, etc.), performing physical assessments and helping patients manage chronic diseases such as diabetes. The 3+3 dual degree program developed by Carroll University and the MCW Pharmacy School allows students participating in Carroll’s Target Health Sciences program to earn a BA or BS degree from Carroll and a PharmD degree from the MCW Pharmacy School in just six years.

The 3+3 partnership program with the College of Health Sciences and the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences allows a Marquette University student to earn a BA or BS degree and a PharmD from the MCW Pharmacy School in just six years.

The 4+3 partnership program provides Mount Mary students early assurance admission into the PharmD program at the MCW Pharmacy School.
