Sheridan Ryan:

"Risk Management for Providers"

Sheridan Ryan is Associate Director of Clinical Risk Management at Medical College of Wisconsin. Sheridan is a former trial lawyer, litigating medical malpractice and personal injury cases. Her first career was as a spinal cord injury physical therapist. Today, Sheridan addresses a variety of clinical risk issues, including the management of non-immediate but threatening or otherwise concerning patient behaviors and communications.

David Cipriano:

"Provider Well-Being Interventions"

Dr. Cipriano received his Ph.D. In Clinical Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin where he also serves as Director of Student and Resident Behavioral Health. He has worked in academic medicine for the last 18 years and his research interests include learner wellbeing and school-based mental health.
