Neuroscience Research

As part of one of the nation’s top academic medical centers, the Neuroscience Research Center scientists use innovative approaches and technology, including world-class imaging facilities, to create new knowledge that will improve treatment and prevention of disorders of the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves. Founded in 2010, the Center brings together faculty from a wide range of departments who use a team approach to deepen our understanding of conditions ranging from drug addiction to congenital muscle disease to epilepsy. Together with the clinical programs at Froedtert Hospital, we endeavor to make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Our Program's Focus

The recently launched Center for Neurotrauma Research is dedicated to improving our ability to treat traumatic injuries to the brain and spinal cord.
