Memorial and Honor Gifts to the Medical College of Wisconsin
A gift to the Medical College of Wisconsin is a meaningful and lasting way to honor someone special or to recognize a significant milestone in your own life.
Honor Gifts
Honor Gifts
An honor gift is a thoughtful way to acknowledge a milestone or significant person in your life. You may even want to pay tribute to a special doctor by making a gift in his or her honor. Simply note that you’re making an honor gift when you fill out your donation form, and let us know if you’d like us to notify the person about your gift. Thank you for your generosity!

Memorial Gifts
Memorial Gifts
Honor a loved one’s memory by requesting gifts in support of the Annual Fund for Excellence or research in an area such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, ALS, arthritis, or macular degeneration.
To get started:
- Include the following information in the obituary: “In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to support {optional designation} research can be made to the Medical College of Wisconsin, Attn: Office of Institutional Advancement, P.O. Box 26509, Milwaukee, WI 53226-0509." Memorial gifts may also be made on our online donation form.
- Memorial gift envelopes are available upon request. Contact us at donations@mcw.edu and we will send the envelopes to the funeral home before the memorial service.
- Please let us know which relative or friend should be notified of memorial gifts, and every week we will share the list of contributing donors. MCW also sends all donors a receipt and note of gratitude in compliance with IRS requirements.
Memorial gifts are greatly appreciated. May the knowledge that these gifts help others comfort you and your family during this difficult time.
