NRC Imagine More Award for Postdocs
MCW's Annual Imagine More Award, sponsored by the Neuroscience Research Center, has created a special mechanism to support postdoctoral researchers. They are now accepting applications for the 2024 Post-Doctoral Imagine More Award which includes up to $50,000 in funding for a period of 1-year.
CVRC Postdoctoral Fellow Pilot Awards
MCW’s Cardiovascular Research Center (CVRC) is offering a pilot award opportunity for cardiovascular research that provides $15,000 in funding and has up to 3 awards available.
Cancer Center Postdoctoral and Clinical Fellowship Program

The purpose of the Postdoctoral and Clinical Fellowship Program is to recruit and train high-quality, innovative basic science and clinical/translational cancer researchers with the potential to successfully compete for extramural funding. Fellowships will be awarded to promising postdoctoral or clinical fellows who are focused on cancer. For clinical fellows, this award is intended to support additional years of research training after completion of their clinical training. The postdoc’s stipend is covered. The fellowship provides up to 2 years of support. Year 2 of funding is contingent on submission and approval of an annual progress report.

AHW Postdoctoral Researcher Seed Grants
AHW’s Call for Applications: MCW Post-Doctoral Researcher Seed Grants supports eligible MCW Post-Doctoral Researchers and their faculty supervisor to test innovative ideas to address Wisconsin’s leading health challenges and enhance Wisconsin’s health workforce equipped to conduct valuable research to advance health. Successful seed projects will build a foundation for future research and career development beyond the project period. Applicants may request up to $50,000 for projects completed within a 12-month period.
