The Medical College of Wisconsin Eye Institute is home to the clinics, surgical rooms and research laboratories of the Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences. Here, our physicians and scientists have combined innovative research with clinical expertise to become a national and international leader in the fight against eye diseases. We partner with vision researchers from other MCW departments, from biophysics to pediatrics, as well as from the newly formed joint Biomedical Engineering Department with Marquette University, in a collaborative effort to improve, restore and preserve sight.
