Medical College of Wisconsin Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Program

People with Parkinson’s disease, who become unresponsive to drug therapies, may be candidates for surgical intervention. Neurosurgical options include a deep brain stimulator, pallidotomy and thalamotomy.
