Medical College of Wisconsin Radiation Oncology Residency Rotations

Radiation Oncology Residency rotations are three months in length with the exception of the physics rotation (two months), oncologic pathology (one month), pediatric oncology (one month), adult medical oncology (one month) and oncologic imaging (one month). Rotation schedules are revised annually for a July 1 start date. When located at the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Clinical Cancer Center, residents rotate with two faculty who have expertise in specific disease sites. When located at any of the ancillary sites, (Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center or Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital), residents rotate with all faculty treating all disease sites.

Path/Radiology/Med Onc
Three one-month rotations in surgical pathology, adult medical oncology, and oncology imaging (pending PGY-1 rotations).

Physics
Two-month rotation in physics section.

VA Medical Center
Two-month general radiation oncology rotations located at the Zablocki VA in Milwaukee.

Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital
One- or two-month community radiation oncology rotation at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital.

Froedtert Hospital
Two-month rotations assigned to two faculty physicians with emphasis on 2-3 specialties located at Froedtert & the Medical College Cancer Center in Milwaukee.

Research
Six-month rotation with more available upon request.
