"Does How, What, and Where We Teach Doctors Matter?: Changing Medical Education With the Community's Health in Mind"
Presented by Lisa Grill Dodson, MD, Campus Dean, MCW-Central Wisconsin
At a time when health care costs and outcomes in the US are under fire, and physician burnout is at epidemic levels, medical education across the US is undergoing significant change. Which changes will best prepare today's medical students to be doctors who will improve the health of our communities, as well as the health of our healers? Dr. Dodson will explore the changes going on in the medical education and health care delivery to answer questions about what it will take to improve our health care outcomes.
