MCW Match Day Scholarship Brunch

This invitation-only event offers a meaningful opportunity for higher level scholarship donors to connect with the students they support, allowing them to witness a pivotal moment in each recipient’s medical journey – just ahead of Match Day. It is our way of expressing sincere gratitude to donors whose generosity helps shape the future of healthcare, while fostering personal connections that highlight the impact of their support. About This Event

The first instance of this annual event was held in 2025 to bring together Medical College of Wisconsin students and their families, donors, and faculty and staff to celebrate the power of philanthropic support for scholarships. Attendees were invited to enjoy brunch and hear from MCW leaders and student speakers during the event, hosted just before the Match Day ceremonies.

Donors were recognized at the event for their support of scholarship awards, which are instrumental in ensuring that talented, passionate students can pursue their calling in the healthcare profession without financial constraints limiting their potential. These contributions also boost MCW’s efforts to attract the nation’s top students to the Schools of Medicine, Pharmacy, and Graduate Studies.

Providing the foundational training for students in our Schools of Medicine, Pharmacy, and Graduate Studies is central to our mission as a health sciences university. Our education programs would not be as strong, or as successful, without donor contributions to our scholarship programs.
