2023 INSIGHT Into Diversity STEM Award and the 2023 Health Professions Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award

MCW was recognized by INSIGHT Into Diversity for exceptional progress in inclusivity in higher education, as well as its pioneering promotion of STEM education, by receiving both the 2023 INSIGHT Into Diversity STEM Award and the 2023 Health Professions Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award.

Froedtert & MCW network hospitals earn U.S. News & World Report 2022-2023 recognitions

Froedtert Hospital was ranked #1 in the Milwaukee Metro and #2 in Wisconsin in the U.S. News & World Report 2022-2023 Best Hospital Rankings. Froedtert Hospital earned three top 50 rankings: #33 in Ear, Nose and Throat (up from #43 last year), #44 in Urology and #46 in Rehabilitation.

The hospital also was recognized as high performing in Gastroenterology and GI Surgery, Orthopedics, Pulmonology and Lung Surgery, and Diabetes and Endocrinology.

Milwaukee Business Journal 2022 People to Know in Health Care

Mara Lord, MCW senior vice president of university engagement and strategic planning, and Joyce Sanchez, MD, associate professor of medicine (infectious diseases), were named among the “10 People to Know in Health Care” in southeastern Wisconsin by the Milwaukee Business Journal. The list honors executives who are on their way up and making a difference in the healthcare industry.

Children’s Wisconsin ranked among nation’s best by U.S. News and World Report

Children’s Wisconsin was ranked among the top pediatric hospitals in the nation and #1 in Wisconsin in the 2022-2023 U.S. News & World Report Best Children’s Hospitals list. They were ranked in eight specialty areas: Cancer, Cardiology & Heart Surgery, Gastroenterology & GI Surgery, Neurology & Neurosurgery, Pulmonology, Nephrology; Urology and Diabetes and Endocrine.
