Community Engaged Research Seed Grant Program

The Medical College of Wisconsin's (MCW) Community-Engaged Research (CEnR) Seed Grant Program, was a partly-matched program, that leveraged funding from interested centers, institutes, and departments. The program’s goals aimed to:

  • Award competitive seed grant funding for promising, early-stage research focused on improving the health of Wisconsin communities, with an emphasis on research that has a high possibility of future extramural grant funding
  • Collaborate to provide match funding to promote and encourage participation and grant submission from partnering MCW centers and departments

These awards are a collaborative effort of the Community Engagement Core and the Cancer Center at the Medical College of Wisconsin and are funded by the Research and Education Program Fund, a component of the Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment and by the State of Wisconsin Tax Check off Funding.
