Provide agile and responsive data science solutions to address time-sensitive and high-priority healthcare challenges specific to Wisconsin, enabling timely interventions and improving surgical outcomes for the community.

Knowledge Sharing and Education

A platform for knowledge sharing, training, and education to enhance surgical data science literacy and empower surgical providers with the skills needed to leverage advanced analytics, fostering a culture of data-driven innovation within and beyond Wisconsin.

About the Symposium

This symposium will highlight key areas shaping the future of artificial intelligence in modern surgical practice, including the role of AI in education, intraoperative applications and computer vision, and implementation and clinical integration of AI tools. Sessions will explore recent advances, practical applications, ethical considerations, and regulatory perspectives influencing how AI is adopted. The symposium will bring together faculty, trainees, researchers, and interdisciplinary collaborators interested in the evolving role of AI in healthcare and surgery.
