Graduate Student Association

The MCW Graduate Student Association (GSA) gives a voice to the students and fosters strong communication between them and administration, as well as with faculty. The GSA provides input and feedback regarding policy development and change, program and curriculum development, and on many institutional committees. Student welfare is its focus, including the opportunity to socialize and interact with one another. If you are a degree seeking graduate student you are a member of the GSA. The representative council is comprised of one program rep from each degree offering program that MCW administers, two faculty advisors, one elected and one assigned, as well as the Director of Enrollment. Elections are held in the spring of each year. The council meets monthly to share institutional committee and program updates, plan events, manage its budget that stems from student fees, and to address any emergent issues. The council welcomes all students to attend.Additionally, graduate students have been given representation on a number of standing committees of both the Faculty Council and the Graduate School.
