The Chasing Chad Casino Night Gala, presented by Direct Supply, will be held Friday, October 4th, at Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery in Milwaukee.
Enjoy hors d'oeuvres, a buffet dinner, a signature cocktail, casino chips, music, a silent auction and much more! Registration, cocktails and silent auction begin at 6:00 pm; casino games and other entertainment begin at 7:30 pm.
Proceeds from the event support brain tumor research at the MCW Cancer Center.
Since 2010, Chasing Chad has donated approximately $150,000 and patient educational books in support of brain tumor research. The organization was formed in memory of Chad Bordwell, a vibrant, athletic husband and father who died from a brain tumor in 2009 at age 36, just weeks after completing his ninth marathon.

The Pinktacular Salute to Survivors Fashion Show and Luncheon, organized by WBCS, Inc., will be held Thursday, October 3, at the Italian Community Center in Milwaukee.
A shopping bazaar featuring artisan vendors will be open from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm, before and after the event. The luncheon and fashion show will begin at noon.
The fashion show features designs from some of the area's top retailers. All models are breast cancer or prostate cancer survivors and will be accompanied on the runway by a special person who helped them in their cancer journey.
Tickets are $75/$100 per person; $750/$1,000 per table of ten. Registration and further details to come.
Proceeds from the event support breast cancer and prostate cancer research at the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center.
Since 1998, WBCS, Inc., has donated more than $6.475 million to fund research and to endow the WBCS Breast Cancer Research Professorship at the College.

Test drive the car of your dreams from 9:00 am-4:00 pm at each location. A special fleet of 100 Bergstrom vehicles will be available to test drive on a specially designed closed course. For each mile driven, Bergstrom Automotive will donate $1 to breast cancer research at the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center. No advance registration is necessary. Participants must have a valid driver's license.
Complimentary food and refreshments will be available and participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt. A raffle will also be held.
Since 2012, Bergstrom Drive for a Cure raised more than $325,000 for breast cancer research at MCW.
The event is held in memory of Melodie Wilson Oldenburg, a longtime television news anchor and breast cancer advocate who died from breast cancer in 2009 at age 59. Melodie Wilson Oldenburg was a co-founder of the MCW Cancer Center Board, and she served on the MCW Board of Trustees with John Bergstrom, Chairman and CEO of Bergstrom Corporation.

The Get Your Rear in Gear® Run/Walk for colon cancer will be held Saturday, October 12, at the Rotary Performance Pavilion in Wauwatosa. All ages are welcome to this family-friendly event.
Registration and event details:
- In-person registration: Friday, October 11, from 3:00-6:00 pm at the park during packet pickup | Saturday, October 12, beginning at 7:30 am.
- Opening Ceremony at 8:30 am.
- Kids Fun Run (1/4 mile) starts at 8:45 am.
- 5K timed run/2 mile walk starts at 9:00 am.
The event includes refreshments, kids' activities, survivor hospitality tent, tech shirts and marathon quality medals for age group winners. Opportunities to honor survivorsand those lost to colon cancer are available, including a memory walk and balloon release.
Since 2011, more than $100,000 in proceeds from Get Your Rear in Gear® have been donated to Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin to promote colorectal cancer awareness, education, and research programs.
