School of Pharmacy
The Medical College of Wisconsin Pharmacy School is preparing the next generation of pharmacists to practice at the top of their licenses, fully prepared for the new demands and opportunities of a rapidly-evolving profession. Our three-year doctor of pharmacy (PharmD) program – the only of its kind in Wisconsin – provides students extensive exposure to a variety of clinical settings and world-class research in specialties such as precision medicine, pharmacogenomics, cancer and psychiatry.
The MCW School of Pharmacy will open its doors to the inaugural class in August 2017 and will target a class size of 60 students per year. The School of Pharmacy will offer significant one-on-one attention from high-caliber faculty and a supportive, approachable learning environment.
Gifts to the MCW School of Pharmacy will support recruiting, training, and retaining exceptional faculty, strengthening and expanding infrastructure and technology learning tools, programmatic expenses, and financial aid for students.
In supporting this initiative, you will be help address the need for increased healthcare in Wisconsin and beyond by supporting the education of pharmacists who are trained to provide expanded services to our communities, including administering vaccines, strep tests, and other patient care services.
