Walter Zeit Fellowship Student Awards Application
The Zeit Society invites students in their second-to-last year of study to apply. If you intend to graduate or complete your program next year, you are eligible to apply.

Apply for the Walter Zeit Leadership Award and Founding Deans Awards
Award Criteria
Applicants must demonstrate superior qualities in the following five values via their short question responses: Leadership, Loyalty, Service, Initiative, and Compassion
Application Requirements
To ensure full transparency the application must include:
- Responses to five essay questions (one for each core value)
- A current resume or CV
- One letter of recommendation
Interview Process
The top 10 applicants will advance to a virtual interview round. Finalists will meet with Associate and/or Assistant Deans from MCW’s campuses to further discuss their experiences, leadership, and motivations.
Timeline
March 31: Application opens
April 30: Application is due
May-June: Application review, finalist selection, and interviews
July: Final approval and award recipient notification
October 23: Awardees recognized at the annual Next & Notable Awards Night event
May (following year): Financial award distributed (if applicable)
