Medical College of Wisconsin Radiology Fellowship Programs

The Department of Radiology offers Fellowships in Abdominal/Body Imaging, Breast Imaging, Cardiothoracic Imaging, Musculoskeletal Imaging, Neuroradiology, Neuroradiology Brain Mapping Advanced, Pediatric Radiology, and Vascular & Interventional Radiology.

Our Programs

The Abdominal/Body Imaging, Breast Imaging, Cardiothoracic Imaging, and Musculoskeletal Imaging applications are open for submission beginning Aug. 1 of each year. Interviews will be virtual. Please see the ‘Learn More’ tabs for further details and directions.

Abdominal/Body Imaging Fellowship

The Abdominal/Body Imaging Fellowship includes additional training in magnetic resonance imaging, computed body tomography, sonography, and interventional techniques.

Cardiothoracic Imaging Fellowship

The Cardiothoracic Imaging Fellowship was established in 1983 in memory of Dr. Gerard Scanlon, an outstanding chest radiologist and teacher. This one-year fellowship offers training in all aspects of Cardiothoracic Imaging.

Emergency Radiology Fellowship

Neuroradiology Fellowship

The Neuroradiology Fellowship with the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals (MCWAH) is a one-year, ACGME-accredited program that offers comprehensive training in the translation of advanced neuroimaging techniques to the everyday practice of neuroradiology.

Neuroradiology Brain Mapping Advanced Fellowship

This one-year advanced fellowship offers the opportunity to become fully trained in Functional Brain Mapping.

Pediatric Radiology Fellowship

Our pediatric radiology fellowship is a one-year, ACGME-accredited program encompassing all facets of diagnostic and interventional pediatric radiology.

Independent Interventional Radiology Residency (formerly known as the VIR Fellowship)

The VIR Fellowship officially ended on June 30, 2020 and has been replaced by the Independent IR Residency.

Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship

The Medical College of Wisconsin musculoskeletal radiology fellowship offers training in both diagnostic imaging and image guided procedures.
