Pediatric Radiation Therapy

In the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Department of Radiation Oncology, we use high energy conventional external beam therapy, total body irradiation and proton therapy (coming soon) to target various childhood cancers. While the primary goal is to deliver safe and accurate radiation, we also inspire to make the treatment unique and comfortable for our pediatric patients. The department has dedicated waiting area to keep the children engaged and entertained, as well as customized head and neck immobilization masks, to make the child feel safe and cared for during their time on the treatment couch.
