International, Foreign Degree and Transfer Students

International Students

International Students

If you are an international student (F1 or J1 visa) currently attending classes at an institution in the U.S., or are a Canadian citizen, you must complete the same admission process through the MCW Pharmacy School application. Any courses you have taken outside the U.S. or Canada must be evaluated through a foreign transcript evaluation service, such as WES or ECE, and submitted through PharmCAS. As a reminder, international students are not eligible for federal financial aid, but you may qualify for merit based financial aid from the MCW Pharmacy School. Depending on your visa status, you may be required to submit additional documentation during the admission process, such as a current I-20 visa or 1-94 card, and an affidavit of financial support.

*At this time the MCW Pharmacy School is not accepting applications from international students pending Department of Education approval. The MCW Pharmacy School greatly values and supports our international community. If you have specific questions, please contact the Office of Student Affairs
Foreign Degree Students

Foreign Degree Students

If you are a student who has completed course work or earned your degree outside of the U.S. or Canada, and you are not currently enrolled at a U.S. or Canadian institution, you must complete a minimum of two semesters of academic study at a regionally accredited institution in the U.S. You are required to submit a course-by-course foreign transcript evaluation from WES or ECE through the MCW Pharmacy School.

Foreign transcript evaluations can be mailed to:
MCW Pharmacy School Office of Student Affairs
8701 Watertown Plank Rd.
Milwaukee, WI 53226

The TOEFL is a pharmacy school admission requirement for foreign degree students, except those who have completed nine semester credits – within the past 24 months – in English and public speaking before entering the MCW Pharmacy School. We encourage you to contact the Office of Student Affairs to arrange for a review of your transcript and to review all of MCW Pharmacy School’s admission policies.
Transfer Students

Transfer Students

If you are currently enrolled in a pharmacy degree program at another institution, the MCW Pharmacy School may accept your request to transfer under extenuating circumstances and depending on seat availability. Consideration will only be given to students who are currently in good standing at an ACPE-accredited College or School of Pharmacy. If you have been placed on probation for any reason, temporarily or permanently suspended, required to repeat courses or involved in any adverse action as a result of code of conduct violations or academic dishonesty, you are not eligible. Please contact the Office of Student Affairs to arrange for a transcript review and to review all of MCW Pharmacy School’s admission policies.
