Build Professional Connections by Serving Rural Patients

The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) Pharmacy School offers the Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) Rural Health Track during the third and final year of the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) curriculum. Pharmacy students who want to serve rural patients can build professional connections while they're still in school.

About the Advanced Pharmacy Experience (APPE) Rural Health Track

Students can elect to participate in the APPE Rural Health Track during their third and final year of the Doctor of Pharmacy curriculum.
Complete at least 3 and up to all 7 rotations (6 weeks each) serving rural patients.
Build professional connections in the area where you want to begin your career.
Students located near MCW’s regional campuses in Central Wisconsin and Green Bay can remotely participate in seminars with classmates in Milwaukee.
