Outpatient care is provided in the Froedtert & Medical College Cardiovascular Center on the third floor of the Froedtert East Building. Care is provided by 36 cardiologists and nine advanced practice nurses along with an array of other medical support staff to serve our patients. Inpatient care is provided in CVICU where specialized cardiac nurses and telemetry (EKG) monitoring allows state of the art care. The cardiac intensive care unit is similarly staffed by specialized cardiac care nurses in the setting of an array of specialized monitors. Diagnostic testing is performed in our clinical laboratories (cardiac catheterization, cardiac electrophysiology, cardiac ultrasound and cardiac stress testing). Patients are potentially eligible to participate in a host of research studies.
